Today I’m reviewing Project Almanac.

Short Synopsis:

A brilliant high school student and his friends uncover blueprints for a mysterious device with limitless potential, inadvertently putting lives in danger.**

Non-Spoiler Review:

Project Almanac is a decent time at the movies. You have laughs, some drama and time travel mixed up into a story surround smart high school kids. Beware of the found footage angle, it contains quite a bit of shaky camera.

Kingsman: The Secret Service Review

Hello and Welcome Reviewers!

Today I’m reviewing Kingsman: The Secret Service.

Short Synopsis:

Based upon the acclaimed comic book and directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class), Kingsman: The Secret Service tells the story of a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. **

Non-Spoiler Review:

Kingsman: The Secret Service was a great telling of an unknown Marvel property. The fighting style of this movie is amazing and will have you wanting more. Just imagine a James Bond movie with a few curve balls.

The DUFF Review

Today I’m reviewing The DUFF.

A high school senior instigates a social pecking order revolution after finding out that she has been labeled the DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to her prettier more popular friends.**

Non-Spoiler Review:

The DUFF brings some of the old antics of high school life and blends it with the new troubles in schools today. There are quite a few points of comedy mixed in with this form of bullying. You will enjoy it and maybe even think back to your high school years.

Non-Spoiler Review:

The Wedding Ringer is a quite funny movie that uses the chemistry between Josh Gad and Kevin Hart in the right way. You’re guaranteed to have a few laughs while watching this movie. It’s hard to bring out a rated-R comedy into the industry and make money nowadays but this one should go the distance.

Hello and Welcome Reviewers!

Today I’m reviewing Into the Woods.

Short Synopsis:

A witch tasks a childless baker and his wife with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree.**

Non-Spoiler Review:

Into the Woods brings some of the most famous Grimm movies to life. You have a mash-up of The Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Cinderella stories. They all combine together for a decent movie. You won’t know how it will end when each world collide with one another.

I give this movie a 5.9 out of 10.

Hello and Welcome Reviewers!

Today I’m reviewing The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies.

Short Synopsis:

Bilbo and Company are forced to engage in a war against an array of combatants and keep the Lonely Mountain from falling into the hands of a rising darkness.**

Non-Spoiler Review:

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies is a great finish to the Hobbit trilogy. The story progressed and ended up full circle to Middle Earth. There are long battle sequences in this movie that brings smiles to all. Each character gets a moment to showcase their skills. If you love the stories about Middle Earth then you will definitely enjoy this movie.

I give this movie a 8.8 out of 10.

The Gambler Review

Today I’m reviewing The Gambler.

Short Synopsis:

Lit professor and gambler Jim Bennett’s debt causes him to borrow money from his mother and a loan shark. Further complicating his situation is his relationship with one of his students. Will Bennett risk his life for a second chance?**

Non-Spoiler Review:

The Gambler gives you a very small glimpse of the life of a person with a gambling addiction. Jim Bennett lives two lives, by day a teacher and by night a notorious gambler. If you love movies about poker then this will appeal to you greatly. John Goodman bring an interesting twist as a villain-like character. This movie is filled with some exciting moments and will leave you feeling ok with spending money to see it.

I give this movie a 5.6 out of 10.

Annie brings out a nice twist to a classic. The musical numbers have a modern feel to them. You will enjoy every minute of the movie. Audience members of all ages will find themselves laughing and cheering for Annie.

Top Five is hilarious and will have you laughing during each of their comedic scenes. Chris Rock has done it again and this time he’s bringing a truckload of comedians with him. There is an impressive list of comedians in this movie that will make you laugh. This movie is filled with comedy and a few dramatic scenes that flow well with each other.

I give this movie an 8.1 out of 10.

Today I’m reviewing Horrible Bosses 2.

Short Synopsis:

Dale, Kurt and Nick decide to start their own business but things don’t go as planned because of a slick investor, prompting the trio to pull off a harebrained and misguided kidnapping scheme.**

Non-Spoiler Review:

Horrible Bosses 2 brings a good amount of laughs when you return to the lives of Dale, Kurt and Nick. Jennifer Aniston’s character is over the top and it works. You will enjoy Chris Pine and his great performance. If you loved the first movie then you will definitely enjoy this movie. It bumps it up a slight notch.

I give this movie a 6.8 out of 10.
