Overall Thoughts

Negan… Negan… Negan….If you thought the govenor was bad then you’re in for a treat when it comes to this man. He is ruthless but at the same time sooo charming and calculating. He took a headstrong Rick and broke him in less than a day. Negan toyed with Rick by sending him out to get the axe that’s surrounded by walkers. He didn’t allow Rick to get bit but he sure made Rick understand how serious the situation was for their group. Jeffrey Dean Morgan really brought a ton to the table with each minute that passed on the show.

The way how the episode was shot was very impressive. Scott Gimple did a great job in directing this episode. He didn’t give everything away in the first 15 minutes. He made you wait and released information in a slow burn. The great touch was showing the victums of Lucille through flashbacks. It gave the deaths more pain.

If you thought Negan killed one person from Rick’s group then you would WRONG!!! He started off with Abraham. This death I called from the jump. Abraham was too bold and I knew Negan would want to knock him off fast. The second death came out of nowhere. Daryll couldn’t stand the pressure and punched Negan. This lead to Negan showing the group that he wasn’t a liar. He split open Glenn’s head and mirrored the scenes from the graphic novel. It was a horrific couple of minutes but it got Negan’s point across.

Final Grade -> 93%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
