Overall Thoughts

The action in this episode was amazing! It got gory really quick. You see the Wolves go through the entire town and create complete chaos. They started cutting up bodies and just slicing through limbs. This is the wakeup call Alexandria needs in order to become stronger. If they didn’t have the crew of Rick then everyone would have been slaughtered. The only person who took things to the next level was Jessie. She turned on her maternal instincts and demolished one of the Wolves.

Carol was the MVP for this episode. You see her fending off the Wolves and even camouflaging herself a bit too. She saved multiple people while in her Wolves clothing. Her character is a very pivotal person in the group. She’s quick to react once everything is clear. There’s no hesitation in her actions.

Morgan struggled with the thought of getting things done during majority of this episode. It finally hit him close to the end when he had a semi-reunion with one of the Wolves. He didn’t want to kill anyone at all but after seeing the consequences of his kindness he might change. This reminds me of what Daniel said in Fear the Walking Dead, “The nice ones are always the first to die…”

You get a little backstory into Enid’s character and it’s a gruesome one. She went through the death of her parents but it makes you think she had a hand in it somehow. You’re not completely sure what happened during their final moments and Enid’s “Just Survive Somehow” mantra might lend into the mystery. She’s definitely the definition of a nomad. You see her travel from place to place not trying to stay anywhere for too long.

The only thing I didn’t like about this week’s episode was Ron. He sucked big time. He was being very brat-like during the whole episode. Then this dude decides to leave his mom alone in the house. What kind of son are you kid? It’s unfortunate that the Wolves didn’t get him. I understand that he’s mad because of his father was killed by Rick but the dad was a monster himself. If Rick didn’t kill him then he would have beat up everyone in the family and get banished anyway. He wasn’t going to survive outside of the walls on his own.

Final Grade -> 95%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.

    Greatly enjoyed this episode..loved the fact that The Wolves didn’t use guns in their attack on Alexandria..That made things a lot more gruesome and graphic..Was kinda disappointed in the so called Mayor of Alexandria..Was hoping she got some of that repressed anger out and actually kick some but..Can’t wait to see how they take on The Walkers next week after just getting over the attack from The Wolves

    1. It’s very interesting to see the amount of danger this show can portray for a certain group. The Alexandrians now know it takes more than a wall to keep themselves safe. A big change is coming!
