Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation Review

Hello and Welcome Reviewers!

Today I’m reviewing Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation movie.

Short Synopsis:

Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.**

Non-Spoiler Review:

Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation is an action packed story. Rogue nation picks up after the events of Ghost Protocol and it doesn’t slow down. You will be amazed by all of the practical stunts performed by Tom Cruise and the crew.

This Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation movie review contains possible spoilers. You’ve been warned.

** Warning, Possible Spoilers!!!! **

The Good:

The stunts performed in this movie were spectacular. The trailers only captured a small glimpse into the world of Rogue Nation. In the first 10 minutes you have Ethan Hunte hanging on to a plane that’s taking off in the air and it’s glorious. He eventually gets inside the plan only to strap himself onto the cargo to parachute out. Then you have the motorcycle chase scene, yes… Tom Cruise is on a motorcycle again. Which played out quite well.

Simon Pegg played a pivotal role in this movie. He brought a lot of fun and charm. There are many moments during the movie which wouldn’t have worked if they didn’t include him in it. He showed he’s able to be a funny character all while keeping his view of being an agent possible.

Tom Cruise puts on an incredible performance as Ethan Hunte. He just gets better and better with each movie of this franchise. There’s no better person to play this character. He’s jumping, swimming, flying on the outside of the plane and anything possible that’s involved with stunts.

The Bad:

It’s hard to think about anything that’s very bad about this movie. If I mention anything it would be nitpicking rather than something substantial. The only thing that I disliked about this movie is something really small, well not small but the government in this universe is ridiculous. Each Mission Impossible movie pitted the IMF team either getting hunted by another form of U.S. government or the higher leaders of the IMF organization.

The Hypothetical:

It would be hard to change this movie around to make it better. It’s a pretty solid movie. You can’t say that about many movies out today.
