Synopsis
Mary (Taraji P. Henson) is a hitwoman working for an organized crime family in Boston. Mary’s life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses when a professional hit goes awry.

Non-Spoiler Review
Proud Mary is a decent attempt to showcase Taraji’s skills as an action star power. I don’t think her character could have saved this generic hit-person movie. It’s filled with a lot of cliche moments and even more tedious dialogue. You’re better off waiting until this movie pops up on YouTube or something. Well, not even YouTube… just pretend it doesn’t exist.
