The American Society of Magical Negroes
In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started — the iconic New York City firehouse — to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Characters
There's a couple of characters in this movie that received too much screen time. If they spent less time with them and more on older Ghostbusters it would have been better. Also Phoebe isn't allowed to let her science jokes fly.

Reviewer's Curve
The best parts of this movie for me would be returning older cast members along with some of the actual ghost busting. It's a pity the story doesn't lead into it a bit more. This movie would have been better with another script edit.
-
Plot
There's not much to this plot and a lot of the story felt forgettable. Many of the plot points fall flat and hinders what could have been a better movie.
-
Pacing
The pacing was a bit over the place. I fought trying to check my watch every moment but it was hard. There were some parts of the movie that pushed the story well but other sections where it felt slow.

Re-Watchability
I would watch this movie again only to see the old Ghostbusters suit up. It was also nice seeing a couple new gadgets and the concept of the "Ghost Corps" is a great addition to the lore.
The villain was completely horrible. The trailer made it seem like they would be a threat but I would say they’re a slight inconvenience. The big bad showed up in one big scene but was defeated easily enough without too much issue.
This movie tried to hard to cause conflict for the Phoebe character. They kept on either taking her off of the team or trying to push her aside which caused a lot of the plot for her to be a rebel. I wasn’t a fan of them forcing her into that character arch. The science and dad jokes worked well for her in the first movie plus she saved the whole world as well.
Dwight's Hypothetical Corner
Let's say I change one thing. Maybe that one thing will make this movie better or more watchable.
Throw away the firemaster characters and the special librarian. It would have been better if they went to an art museum and bumped into Dana instead. This would inject a bit more of the nostalgia into the movie.
Some parts of the movie could have been left on the cutting room floor. The plot line of the firemasters wasn’t needed when you have a ghost that was involved in the fire. It could have been her redemption to combine her flame with the stream of Phoebe. They spent a decent amount of time trying to make them important but ultimately it didn’t make sense to have them included. Also they should have included a bit more ghostbusting along with adding in 2 more toys besides the drone and glove.
