Hello and Welcome Reviewers!
Today, I’m reviewing episode 16 from season 2 of The Flash.
Short Synopsis:
Episode #16 – “Trajectory”
Trajectory arrives in town intent on creating maximum chaos. Trajectory’s antics are misinterpreted as having been perpetrated by The Flash himself. Barry must thus act quickly to uncover the mystery of who is causing damage in which others think it is him, and what may be driving their mad desire for speed and destruction.**

Episode 16 Overall Thoughts
I didn’t like Trajectory at all. She felt like a wasted character. Things lined up a bit too nicely with her becoming a villain. Caitlin Snow doubted she could ever make the formula and walked away. You would think knowing that Mercury Labs is your biggest competitor; maybe someone could do something against your wishes. It made her look like an addict that’s trying to get a speed fix. She felt like a weak version of Zoom but still able to be faster than Barry.
Cisco and his vibing is starting to become useful. He is training his powers well and it’s starting to show. The vibe off of the helmet was a clutch move for the team. It gave them the information the team needed. Now they know Jay is Zoom or someone that looks like Jay is Zoom. Besides vibing on objects Cisco is a vital team member of the group when Barry is training. The quad-copters came in handy when Barry couldn’t concentrate.
The one drawback for me is the training of Barry Allen. It feels like he’s always going against a faster speedster in some way in every episode. I know he’s facing against Zoom this season but I would rather see him go up against a villain like Gorilla Grodd or Captain Cold or someone that makes him think about using his speed wisely. The main villains so far only want him to get faster which might become boring after a while.
Jesse leaving S.T.A.R. labs was a great move. She wasn’t that helpful while on the show. She was wasted and it looks like she’s going to Opal City. I believe that’s the same location that Supergirl is in (well in another universe). The dynamic of her being with the team didn’t work too much. Her role in Central City was a damsel in distress but maybe in Opal City she could become a speedster that helps. She did get injected with velocity-9.
Final Grade -> 78%
Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
