Episode 6 Overall Thoughts

So Chris decided to go off the deep end. He even lets a walker attack Madison and didn’t help. Alicia sees this and becomes afraid of him. Chris just went from bad to worse in this episode. Kudos to the actor playing him because he’s doing a great job in making you not like his character. To make matters worse he decides to go inside their room in the middle of the night and get caught being a creeper. This solidified his horrible nature and Madison/Alicia will never trust him again.

Strand gives an Oscar level performance when he’s with Thomas. They recap the things that happened during the last few months and you get more of a backstory of both characters. You see the sickness starting to take over Thomas and it’s heart-breaking. At the end, Strand gives Thomas a mercy killing which pisses off Celia.

Celia was an interesting character. She had the same belief as the Governor from The Walking Dead series. She believes that the walkers are still alive. She begins to get Nick on board and eventually takes a liking to him. You can tell she’s a strong character that would survive in this kind of world as long as no one messes with her walkers.

Episode 7 Overall Thoughts

Chris runs off which is the best thing for the group but unfortunately you have Travis running after him. Instead of trying to convince his son to come back to the group he decides to join him. Now you have both of them out in the world by themselves. They run into Nick after a while and tells him not to tell Madison.

Daniel goes crazy and it’s very scary. They showed a bit of this back in the last episode but not enough time was left to set it up properly. You have him being a strong character for a long time and now he’s going down… this makes no sense. It’s semi-understandable to go crazy after witnessing the love of your life die but for him to do such a 180 in that time frame is ridiculous.

Nick is my favorite character of the series. He has a lot of character development and he’s doing a ton with his resources. He knows how to move around in the world without getting hurt and at times he loses it but returns back to reality in the “nick of time”… pun intended. Now he’s off in the wind and I can’t wait to see where he lands next. It should be interesting to say the least.

The group is now down a ton of members. You don’t have Nick, Travis, Chris and Daniel not returning with the rest of the group. Right now things are getting exciting and who knows, maybe they all might meet in season 3.

Final Grade -> 90%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
