Episode 5 Overall Thoughts

You get a lot of insight into Daniel’s past in this episode. You see that Daniel is quite trained in getting information from people. Both Madison and Daniel showed how far they would go to protect both of their families. This could show exactly who will become the strong members of the group. They will need it because Travis is still a weak link in the chain. Victor Strand is introduced as well and he seems like a character to watch in the upcoming seasons. He has the charisma, brains and understanding of people.

The breakout star of the week is Daniel Salazar. He did just enough to ensure the safety of the entire group. He tortured Andrew into telling him about operation Cobalt. This gave the group the upper hand in prepping for an evacuation. You even got into Daniel’s past a bit as well.

Final Grade -> 81%

Episode 6 Overall Thoughts

This episode in general took a slight step down from the previous one. A lot of things started to happen and just end abruptly. The only thing that had you on the edge of your seat was the zombie takeover caused by Daniel. He lead every zombie from the stadium to the soldier’s base. His line to the guards was priceless. My main gripe is with the scenes after the zombie takeover. It looked like the zombies just left the area completely. Another thing that bothered me was the sun shining after showing complete darkness in the scene prior to it.

The breakout star of the week is Travis Manawa. He went from a punk into a fighter in one scene. In that scene he mirrored the change in Rick Grimes from the Walking Dead  series. All of your actions will have consequences and unfortunately he let Andrew go which caused Ofelia to get injured.

Final Grade -> 70%

Enough on what  I thought about the episodes.
