Overall Thoughts

First and foremost I’m very excited to see Laurel still struggling in her training as the Black Canary. It would be a slap to the community if she got a handle of it too quickly. Another thing I enjoyed was seeing the rage from Thea. The effects of the pit are showing and it looks like she might go in the ways of Jason Todd, ex-Robin/ crazy man because he was brought back from the dead. This episode just kept up with the action and moved the story along with a good pace as well. There are a few changes that improved the show slightly but there are some drawbacks too.

Now you have Diggle joining in on the “angry man” train ride when it comes to anything dealing with Oliver. He’s just so angry especially after his wife, the one who got kidnapped, decided to forgive Oliver and his cryptic decisions while undercover with the league. The only person who beats his dragged out emotion is Captain Lance, who is siding with Damien Darhk. This revelation just upsets me because Lance is so much better than being an angry man/ pawn.

If I had to compare the season premieres of both The Flash and Arrow I would say the previous of the  two would win in a battle. Arrow is missing something that started since season 3 came on air. A lot of things are now confusing and don’t make any sense on the show now. Damien Darhk with his mystic powers really goes away from the comics into a crazy move for the entire show.

Final Grade -> 72%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
