Episode 10 Overall Thoughts

I’m happy that Patty and Barry are over! It was okay seeing him happy with her but ultimately I dislike seeing my TV heroes have girlfriends. It only adds to the chaos and makes them too sloppy. This breakup was telegraphed from the opening minutes of the episode as well when you have Barry disappointing Patty. You could tell she would end it very soon.

Iris West is becoming an enjoyable character of the show. She’s starting to help the story come along with a lot of the folks around her. It’s such a great change from season one. This shows her overall character growth.

This week’s villain was interesting. He has the ability to slow down people around him. They gave him the nickname “The Turtle” which is quite clever. The good thing about this villain is the possibility of using his powers to slow down Zoom. If his powers are used at the right moment then it could give the team enough time to disable Zoom.
The only thing I found annoying about this episode was Wally West. Let’s hope they’re not taking him down a completely dark path. He spent most of the episode being a brat and that’s not a good look for him at all. I could understand why he’s mad but at the same time you showed up on Joe’s doorstep. You can’t get mad at him for trying to be a good guy.

Final Grade -> 80%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
