Overall Thoughts

Damien was good this week. He kept up with his creepy factor from last week’s episode. You see he’s very dangerous even without using his powers. He got Oliver to leave the Mayoral race with just a huge threat to William. Luckily enough you have team Arrow defeating Damien but it wasn’t easy. Vixen had to destroy his totem and after that was gone he held his own with Oliver for a little while.

This was the first time seeing Vixen in live action and I was kind of underwhelmed. She was a cool addition to the group but she felt very different than the animated character on the CW Seed. Maybe they should have kept her on the animated scene only. Never fear, she had some good scenes and played a certain role in the movie. It looked like they couldn’t get Constantine so they settled with Vixen and her new powers.

It was great to see both the name of the episode and the events during the total run-time matching up so perfectly. You see Oliver take the role of Liam Neeson. He goes into bad-ass mode and takes action into his own hands. Stephen Amell had a ton of scenes where he showed off his acting chops. He showed the world that he could play scared, angry and hopeful.

The ending was kind of sucky for me. I didn’t like the fact that Felicity just started walking and left Oliver. They wanted to make it emotional and it was but it was also very campy. I’m happy to see the end of Olicity. It’s holding back Oliver when he needs to get the job done.

Final Grade -> 77%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
