Episode 9 Overall Thoughts
Malcolm really shined in this episode. He really portrayed the Arrow and brought back the greatness of the character even if it was for a little run. You see he hasn’t lost his skills since being the Dark Archer when he first came to the world of Arrow.
Gangster Thea is losing it to the blood lust. It’s hard to control everything when it comes to that aspect. You see her burn Anarky and even go crazy in the train station. She’s really struggling and shows a lot of development.
The best part of this movie was the ending. I really like the fact that Damien and his boys attacked Oliver’s limo. He said he would do it and he didn’t disappoint. This event will leave everyone shocked and scared.
Final Grade -> 60%
Episode 10 Overall Thoughts
The scenes between Andy and John really shined during this episode. At first they were at odd with each other and end off playing cards. It was great to see what could come from a long time of John tying to get through his brother. I believe there will be something crazy left for both of them but at least now they’re being civil with each other.
Now I’m not sure of the identity of the person in the grave. Originally, I thought it could have been Felicity and kind of hoped it was her but now I’m thinking it will be John. He’s the only person that both Barry and Oliver knows. It will be crazy to finally figure out who dies at the end of this season and the repercussions of the Arrow’s actions.
Anarky is kind of strange and his relationship with Thea is odd. There will be more to see between these characters but for now it’s just weird to see Anarky being nice to Thea. You would think he could be angry and even try to hurt her. He has some kind of affection for her now in a way. It was very surprising to see his martial arts skills. I didn’t think he would have those skills but they haven’t flushed out his character properly.
The flashbacks for this week didn’t help out too much. There were cool to watch because you see the affect of the tattoo on Oliver. Now you’re thinking about the true powers of it and what will keep him from getting killed. The flashbacks have successfully makes you think about how long Oliver really spent from the crash of the Queen’s Gambit to his return to Star city during episode one.
Final Grade -> 73%
Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
