Episode 6 Overall Thoughts

The return of Ray Palmer is glorious. He brings back so much chemistry to the entire team. You could tell he’s an extremely useful addition to the crew. He’s smart, funny and passionate which helps in multiple situations with the group. Even though he’s only in the episode for a few portions of it, he leaves his mark. All in all the reason why this episode is rated so high was the involvement of Ray.

Olicity is slightly off putting to me. The show would work out a lot better when they get rid of that relationship. It complicates things to a level that cheapens the show. They need to return back to the original series where the in-group relationships were low and crime fighting increased. The amount of back and forth between them really turned me off a bit.
Sarah Lance returns to the Canary suit and she kicks butt. It doesn’t look like she lost a step at all. The amount of butt she kicked was awesome. She made her sister look like a complete novice. Even her bloodlust wasn’t as bad as Thea. The amount of anger she let off was controlled to a certain point.

Final Grade -> 77%

Episode 7 Overall Thoughts

John Diggle really annoyed me in this episode. He needs to take a seat somewhere. His angry ways really started to get on my nerves after the second scene. It brought me back to when he was angry at Oliver and personally that was his lowest point. They’re starting to bring out undesirable traits out of the characters of this show again and it’s disappointing.

The shocking revelation that Andy Diggle is still alive is very interesting. I can’t wait to see what angle they give this dude. You’re not sure if he’s under mind control, being blackmailed or under cover. Only the weeks will tell when it comes to the reason why he’s on Darhk’s side.

John and Oliver are starting to go back to the good ole days and it’s great. You need both of them to be a team when it comes down to taking on baddies in the Arrow-verse. Diggle trusted Oliver and gave the case file to him to read about Andy which shows progression.

The best moment of this episode was seeing Thea go crazy with bloodlust. She thought there was a hold on it but you could see her losing control during the entire episode. The one thing that was interesting was Damien Darhk being able to remove her bloodlust. Maybe they will need some magic to figure out this entire thing. It could possibly mean a visit from Constantine to use a spell that releases during her darkest moments.

Final Grade -> 63%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
