American Horror Story: Hotel Episode 3 Review
Synopsis: Season 5, Episode 3: “Mommy”
John deals with marital issues. Donovan is targeted by a dangerous rival of the Countess*
Three episodes in and I’m starting to fear this season now. As I keep watching I’m reminded of Season 2, American Horror Story: Asylum where it had great moments but wasn’t as captivating as lets say their first season Murder House or even last season’s Freak Show. Tonight’s episode dragged quite a bit and didn’t have anything too fascinating to keep me wanting more. The only thing that I would say is that the gorgeous and very talented Angela Basset saved this episode. She finally made her debut as The Countess’ former lover who’s seeking revenge. As always she was seductive, sassy and devoted in her role. Although I’m not quite sure if I was feeling her tale as Foxy Brown Cleopatra Jones, but I am curious to see what she does as the season continues.
As always we can just wait and see what’s to happen next.
