Overall Thoughts

It was sad to see Denise to go but she was talking too much and became a liability. She died the same way how Abraham died in the comics. This might mean he’s safe from that death, who knows. Denise played a part but ultimately she had to go. It was such an epic way to go at that.

Daryl is confused on either doing his own thing or following the group. This week has shown that sometimes you need a mix between the two. He mentioned to the group that following the tracks is too dangerous and he’s correct. If they followed the safe path then maybe Denise would have survived.

This show knows how to do the slow burn properly. They’re showing the Saviors in small pieces. This week you have Dwight and his group popping up. The setup is going to make the appearance of the real Negan so epic. The reveal of Jeffry Dean Morgan will shock the entire group.

The theme of the episode was prove your worth. You have everyone trying to prove they could change their ways and do different things. Many of the folks of Alexandria went out of their wheelhouse in order to prove doubters wrong.

Carol leaving was a surprise. I didn’t think she would just leave without a better reason. It seems like she was battling her demons and decided it was the perfect time to go on a vision walk of sorts. She might become the guardian angel in the weeks to come or maybe get caught by Negan’s group… only time will tell.

Final Grade -> 90%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
