Episode 11 Overall Thoughts

It was great to see the original Eobard Thawne pop up on the show. You get to see how much the Flash has learned during the whole season. This version of the Reverse-Flash is no match for Barry Allen at this moment. Matt Letscher did an amazing job at making his character look surprised about the current time line. Hats off to that man!

Patty finally got her confirmation that Barry Allen is the Flash. They’ve been teasing this reveal for weeks now so it was well worth it seeing her finally get it correct. It was sad to see her go but they need to come back to the Iris/ Barry relationship. Her character was awesome but it felt like she would have got in the way at the end.

Another great thing was Cisco figuring out his powers with help from Earth-2 Harrison Wells. The use of the vibe really assisted with the group. I can see his powers being a true asset to the team for the rest of the season. I can’t wait to see what else he can do with his vibe powers.

Final Grade -> 85%

Episode 12 Overall Thoughts

Harrison Wells was a refreshing character in this episode. He told Barry Allen the truth when they were alone with each other. He didn’t hide anything at all. He even confessed to taking away the Flash’s speed when everyone was confused.

The villain this week was alright but at the end was pointless… Tarpit is his name. His powers were decent but ultimately he didn’t serve much of a purpose during the episode. They should have added in another villain to team up with Tarpit but I’m not sure who you would put with him.

This episode touched quite a bit on the speed fixation of Wally West. In the back of your mind it is a hint towards the future of his character. You even got some quality family moments with him, Iris and Joe. Finally, you have some good episodes with this character.

Final Grade -> 80%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
