New Spiderman is here!!

It looks like Sony/Marvel has cast a new Spiderman and his name is… Tom Holland.

Ever since the big talks of Sony partnering up with Marvel folks have wondered who would put on the iconic web shooters. A lot of people thought there would be a push for Miles Morales but to no avail. Another thing mentioned in the story is the announcement of the director for this movie. Take a look at the information mentioned from Marvel.

Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios are proud to announce that after a full worldwide casting search, Tom Holland will play Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the next Spider-Man film, in theaters in IMAX and 3D on July 28, 2017. The film will be directed by Jon Watts, director of “Cop Car,” the upcoming thriller that made its debut earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival.

It looks like we will see Tom Holland in the new Marvel films. He’s supposed to show up in the upcoming Civil War movie and possibly the Infinity War movies as well. Even in this picture he looks like a good fit for Peter Parker.
