Overall Thoughts

This episode was a decent start to the season. Not much action happened but that could be saved for future episodes. You don’t need constant action for this kind of show. All you need is to add in a few dangers each episode. A slow burn would work out well especially if the group doesn’t have a plan yet for themselves. You shouldn’t overwhelm them all.

The part with Travis making the tough call about the stranded people on the boat shows how much his character have grown since last season. The old Travis would have found a way to take on the people on the yacht. Madison was pissed but she has to see the logic in his movements. You cannot endanger everyone on the yacht by taking on new people. The vessel can barely handle the 7 or 8 people on it now. I can only imagine how much hell it would be if they added on 20 other folks plus you have to think about feeding everyone as well. Strand was hated but they have to respect his decision because at the end of the day it’s his boat.

Alicia might cause a bit of trouble for the group. She started a back and forth communications with a random guy over the radio then you have a speedster coming towards the yacht. She definitely messed up and hopefully she learns how some folks cannot be trusted so easily.

Chris just annoys the crap out of me at this moment. They really need to do something with his character or else he’s going to get a lot of folks killed. He decided to have a verbal altercation with Travis and almost get them killed because of it. I understand you’re still in shock about your mother but there’s a time and place. It’s definitely not safe to argue while a ton of walkers are at your feet, that’s silly. Then when he brings his mother on the yacht he becomes anti-social and even punches Travis in the face. SMH!!!

Final Grade -> 73%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
