The highly anticipated season of American Horror Story: Hotel finally arrived! For months, audiences have been given teasers of what this season might entail. The hour and a half premiere gave us all the greatness of AHS: darkness, suspense, blood and gore. Unlike previous seasons where we are scared beyond our limits, this season so far is seeming to be more gory than suspenseful. In this episode we witnessed blood sucking children, some sort of mummified beings attacking the guests and a ghost that re-appears from time to time.

What people can’t stop talking about is this season’s leading lady, Lady Gaga. Gaga truly embodied her role as The Countess and I can’t wait to see what else her character will do. She carries a sense of power, darkness, sexiness, and of course style. As we see Gaga on screen, you can tell this is a role that was meant for her.

The first episode didn’t give much away but it did start of on a good note making us want to know what else is in store for AHS fans.
