Episode 13 Overall Thoughts

The newer trail is sped up and you find out Bryce received 3 months probation while Justin received 6 months probation. Justin gets the worse of it because no one can find his parents to release him so he spend more time. Finally the Jensons offer to adopt him and Justin accepts. Montgomery has a break down because Bryce wants nothing to do with him. This causes Monte to find the newly returned Tyler and beat him up. He even goes one step closer and sexually violates him. Chloe explains her actions and tells Jessica that she’s pregnant. At the dance the group finds out that Tyler plans on shooting up the school with everyone in it. Clay is able to talk Tyler down and makes him leave. The episode ends in a cliffhanger as Clay holds the assault rifle.

This episode was gruesome and wasteful. I was wondering why they focused so much on Tyler’s story and his payoff was wasted. He didn’t complete the thing he wanted to do to cause tension for season 3. The cliffhanger just felt a bit foolish because they’ve completed Hannah’s story. The funeral was touching and I even shed a tear when hearing the prom song that Clay/ danced to in season 1.

Grade -> 55%

Season 2 Overall Thoughts

There was no reason to keep the story going at all. Season 2 really watered down the events of the previous season and even changed a few things. The most upsetting thing was the Zach/ Hannah summer fling. This makes you think about his tape and wonder why did it seem like they barely knew each other. It was confusing and felt like the goal of the season was to make you fact check everything they mentioned in season 1. I could only find myself enjoying parts of the season.

Kudos to all of the actors who portrayed their characters because they all did an amazing job. Hannah’s “force ghost” really wasn’t needed but she did a great job. Bryce’s character was just enough creepy and charming that made you question his true intentions. These two characters really stood out during the whole season.

Grade -> 50%

Enough on what I thought about the episodes.
